dark light

by Adeola Adedayo
(Lagos State.)

I do more of imaginative pencil drawings as well as realistic pencil drawings. I study History and International Relations in the Lagos State Universty (LASU). I own no art gallery but I hope to.

Studying International Relations because it increases my knowledge of World politics and issues, both past and present. I'm able imagine and create artworks depicting contemporary political issues. The work,"dark light" is a 3D pencil drawing of a reading lamp. Considering the fact that we don't have adequate power supply in Nigeria, students in colleges and universities throughout the country have to depend on the lamp when power is out. The lamp itself has to be charged regularly using electricity which of course is bad.
